FAQ's:

Will I get to choose the photos?

Yes! Of course you can, in fact, you choose all of the photos that will be delivered to ensure that you are pleased with the results. You will also get to see the photos during the shoot so we can correct hair, makeup, etc on the fly.

When do I receieve the photos?

Currently the turnaround time is a maximum of 2 weeks, though I usually return them in 1. This time frame begins when I recieve your choices on which photos you'd like edited.

What should I bring to a shoot?

That's a great question. For most shoots I recommend clothing without logos to make them feel a bit more timeless. Bring more clothing than you think you'll need. If you have some favorite makeup that you use for touchup, bring it! Often there will be a makeup artist or hair stylist involved, but bringing your own products can aid in the process.

Last but not least, bring a playlist that can help you get in the zone! I'll have a speaker ready to blast your tunes.

Can I record Behind the Scenese (BTS) photo / video?

You sure can! I encourage you to enjoy the shoot, and often this means posting to snapchat/instagram stories!

How do you edit?

Good question! Typically my editing involves light color corrections and fixing lighting. For most users this is enough believe it or not! For users looking for that extra bit of professionalism I do skin retouchings which cleans up pores, smoothens skin, and brightens the eyes. The skin retouching process is maticuouls so it takes extra time to do, hence the higher cost.

Some photographers delivers many more photos, why don't you?

It is true that there are other photographers who deliver 50+ photos per look/shoot, which is great in it's own way, however in my expereince I have found that from a single look, a client will only use about 3 - 5 photos. By delivering fewer photos I'm able to do a few things:

  • Focus my editing to fewer photos instead of putting a blanket edit (filter) on multiple photos

  • Pushes clients to be picky about the photos they recieve, ensuring higher quality

  • Reduces redundant looking photos which can bore the viewers.

How do you accept payment?

I use Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo. I never accept cash.

How can I use these images?

These photos are your to share with the world! You are free to post on social media, print the photos, and if you want you can even sell them. Yes, you can sell them, however it should be noted that clients DO NOT get the copyright of the imsages. This isn't to hinder you as the client, it's to protect me as the photographer if I post on my social media or website.

Due to the nature of certain photoshoot styles, clients may request that I don't distribute photos on my social media. You as the client need to be protected too.

All I ask in return is that you give me credit if possible, it really helps out a ton!
