MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey! My name is Joseph, and I’m a portrait photographer based in Orlando, Florida. I specialize in shooting studio portraiture as well as boudoir/lingerie. My studio work includes anything from professional headshots to personal brand development, and my boudoir/lingerie work includes anything from a simple body positivity shoot to content delivery for a significant other.
I focus on building lasting relationships with my clients by helping each client to feel comfortable and natural throught the whole process. It may sound corny but everyone has a story to tell, and I use my camera to express that story.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO HAVE A SHOOT WITH ME?
My first focus as your photographer is to help you feel nautral, I believe that photos can reflect this in recognizeable ways. Studio photography can be intimidating for new clients so I make sure to show you what you look like behind camera. For my boudoir/lingerie clients I promote body positivity, making sure that you feel comfortable in your skin.
I like to match the vibe of the shoot that you have in mind! While planing a shoot I take everything into consideration, from outfits to even the music that’s played during the shoot. My clients would describe me as high energy but relaxed at the same time, an oxymoron I would agree with.
Everything I do is to help you leave a shoot feeling excited to see the results and wanting to have another session!
WHY DO I SHOOT MY STYLES OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
I first fell into studio photography because it helped me to stand out from the crowd in Chicago. By creating my own studio setup I became a more affordable way for clients to have a professional looking shoot without the high overhead costs of renting a studio.
As a photographer I am often asked why I shoot Boudoir/Lingerie photography. The answer for me is pretty straightforward. I strive to empower those around me and help build self confidence. When a client sees themselves through the camera, it’s like they’re seeing themselves for the first time and sometimes that is enough to bring a tear of happiness, I’ve seen it first hand! I’ve had clients use these shoots as a sort of theraputic session to help them see their own beauty.
